1. With Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira both out to begin the season the Yankees are going to need help at the corners. Kevin Youkilis is penciled in at third base but the Yankees are looking at other options. The Yankees have talked to the agents of Derrek Lee and Scott Rolen and Brian Cashman, the Yankees' GM, has tweeted that he would love for Chipper Jones to come out of retirement; which Chipper says won't happen.
2. Percy Harvin, wide receiver for the Vikings, is expected to be traded to the Seahawks on Tuesday in exchange for the Seahawks first round draft pick. This comes a year after Harvin requested a trade due to dislike for the organization's structure.
3. Evgeni Malkin will be sitting out the next one to two weeks due to a shoudler injury. The Penguins star ran into James van Riemsdyk of the Maple Leafs on Saturday night.
